The registration deadline for the 2010 summer program has passed. To register for the 2011 class, interested teachers should download registration form from the AirUCI website, fill it out, and mail it to the address specified on the form. The registration deadline for the 2011 program is June 1, 2011. Because the class size is limited to 20 teachers the teachers will be accommodated on the first come, first serve basis. Local teachers from Orange County schools will receive preference. Non-local teachers can participate but they will have to be able to provide their own accommodations and transportation to UCI. Applications from residents of other countries will not be considered.

Participating teachers will receive a stipend of $1000 upon successful completion of the class (see below). We will register the teachers interested in taking this program for formal credits on the last day of the program (this will reduce their stipend by $95). The class is equivalent to 6 quarter units. The stipend amount will be reduced if you skip classes ($100 deducted for each day skipped).
The teachers will be provided with lunch. Free parking permits will be issued to teachers for the duration of the program. We will mail you packages with maps, parking instructions, and other information one week before the program starts. AirUCI will not be able to provide you with lodging or transportation for the duration of the program or assist you in search for lodging. You must be able to commute to UCI every day either from your home or from home of your local relatives/friends.
To get a passing grade in this class (and earn the stipend and/or credit units), the teachers will be required to:
- Attend the classes on each day of the program
- Come to the labs prepared (do the "prelab")
- Actively participate in the lab and discussions
- Fill out postlabs, quizzes and questionnaires
